PrintDir Help, Download and
Install - When you click on this link, the Widget
Help File will open in a new window. You can click on the
'Widget Print Directory' link to download the program. When
the download has completed, open the folder, unzip it and
install it. You are now ready to run the program. You may
want to keep open the help file until you are familiar with
Run PrintDir - You MUST
be running CP Browser for this feature to work. When you click on this
link, the Widget Print Directory program will start up. Follow the directions
on the Widget Help File screen, which is opened by the 'PrintDir Help,
Download and Install' link, to create a text file of your movie files.
Once you have saved the .txt file, close the Widget Print Directory program.
You are now ready to edit the text file.
Edit Text File - You MUST be running the
CP browser for this feature to work. When you click on this link, Windows explorer will open.
When you locate and select you locate and select you text file, the text file will open with your
default text editor so you can add your location, media type and remove
any lines you don't need or want. When you have finished making the edits,
save and close the text file.
To create a new text file, after clicking on this link, locate your text editor or a shortcut
to you text editor and select it. Your text editor will open. Once you have added your media type, location
and movie titles or UPC numbers, save and close the text file.
Now you are ready to go back to Tools -> Add -> Import Txt where you
can browse to your new text file and 'Add' your movies to your database.
Back to Import Txt - This
link will take you back to the Import Txt screen the same as if you clicked
on the 'Import Txt' button at the top of the screen.
